Overview

Bitrig is a platform for building and shipping native Swift apps with artificial intelligence. It is developed by co-creators of SwiftUI and runs on macOS. Users describe an app idea in natural language, and Bitrig generates real Xcode projects using frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI, integrated through tools such as Claude Code and Codex. The platform supports bringing your own Claude or ChatGPT subscription instead of paying per-token prices.

Full Description ▼

Bitrig includes built-in photorealistic 3D device simulators, allowing users to interact with the app immediately. It uses AI agents that test the generated app by tapping, scrolling, and typing like a real user, then automatically fixes bugs it discovers. The resulting projects are full Xcode projects with the latest SDKs and can be opened in Xcode at any time.

Bitrig also covers the publishing and monetization workflow. It can archive and upload builds to TestFlight and the App Store, manage the App Store listing, and capture screenshots across required devices and localizations. It integrates with GitHub for team-based development and supports backend technologies like CloudKit. In-app purchases, subscriptions, and RevenueCat are supported for monetization. An iOS companion application allows connecting to Bitrig Mac and developing on iPhone or iPad.
