Overview

Hindigo is a task-initiation app designed for individuals who experience paralysis when starting tasks, particularly those with ADHD or executive dysfunction. Unlike traditional to-do lists that require planning and decision-making, Hindigo removes the friction of getting started by presenting a single, tiny, immediately executable action calibrated to the user's current energy level. The app captures a user's intention—via text or voice—without requiring proper formulation, then generates one focused gesture, never showing a full list or backlog.

Full Description ▼

The app's mechanism consists of four simple screens: Capture (input what's blocking you), Loading (calibration to your energy), Result (one action displayed), and Execution (start now, with an optional timer). Subsequent tasks only appear once the current one is completed, preventing overwhelm and choice paralysis. An optional review screen shows accomplishments without highlighting pending items, reinforcing progress without shame.

Hindigo is built on an anti-shame design philosophy: it avoids red colors, overdue badges, or time-elapsed counters that can induce guilt. Even a zero-productivity day is met with acceptance, making the app a low-pressure tool. It is not a productivity suite, project manager, coach, or diagnostic tool—just a practical aid to break the cycle of avoidance by shrinking the first step into something manageable.
