Humanizer
Humanizer is an open-source project that aims to remove signs of AI-generated writing from text, making it sound more like a person wrote it. It is built on Wikipedia's Signs of AI writing guide and works in various agents, including Claude Code, Codex, and others. Humanizer checks for 26 patterns in the text, including staged run-ups, sayings that sound deep, and inflated significance, and rewrites the text to make it sound more human-like. It does not make things up and only uses factual details from the source or the writer. Humanizer can be installed as a skill in various agents and can be used to rewrite text, match the writer's voice, and even rewrite files. The project is licensed under the MIT license and has a large community of users and contributors.

Problem solved
Humanizer solves the problem of AI-generated text sounding artificial and lacking a human touch. Many writers and content creators use AI tools to generate text, but the resulting text often sounds robotic and lacks the nuances of human writing. Humanizer helps to remove these signs of AI-generated writing, making the text sound more natural and engaging. This is particularly useful for writers, content creators, and businesses that want to create high-quality, engaging content that resonates with their audience.
