IG Viewer
IG Viewer is a browser-based anonymous Instagram viewer that allows users to browse public Instagram profiles, posts, reels, highlights, and active stories without logging into an Instagram account. The service focuses on public content only and does not support private accounts or privacy bypass claims. Users can paste a public username or profile URL to preview profile details, recent posts, and reels, and after a free sign-in, watch active 24-hour stories while staying off the official story viewer list. The platform also includes an Instagram downloader for saving original quality photos and videos from supported public media links. IG Viewer operates with a credit system: the first story check each UTC day is free, then subsequent story checks cost credits; reels previews allow two free pages before requiring credits for older pages; and highlights have one free unlock per day, then cost credits. The tool is entirely web-based, requiring no app installation or Instagram password. It is marketed toward marketers checking competitors, creators collecting references, and privacy-conscious users who do not want their viewer name appearing on public story lists. The service explicitly states that it only supports public content and does not provide access to private accounts, Close Friends stories, or any activity data such as likes or follower lists. This makes it a compliance-friendly option for anonymous research on public social media presence.
