Superslate

Paid
★ 11 • Updated Sep 14, 2026, 10:23 AM

Superslate is a paid SaaS boilerplate and starter kit positioned for the "agent era," built on production-grade TypeScript.

Use Cases ▼
01

Starting a new production SaaS product from an integrated TypeScript starter

02

Giving coding agents a maintained repository map, scoped rules and boundaries

03

Adding authentication, organizations and billing without building them from scratch

04

Standardizing how features such as billing-gated routes or database migrations are added

05

Evaluating and scoring AI agent diffs for architectural boundary violations

06

Running a demo application that works immediately after cloning

07

Onboarding a team onto documented golden paths for common changes

What Problem It Solves ▼

AI coding agents tend to degrade a codebase gradually rather than in a single bad commit: they work from stale context files, invent their own route through the code when no standard one exists, and produce green checks that still precede regressions found weeks later. Superslate addresses this by supplying a maintained AGENTS.md contract, per-directory scoped rules, golden-path recipes for common changes, and evaluation tooling that scores agent diffs for boundary violations before they reach review.

Key Features ▼
✓

Includes auth, billing (Polar/Stripe/Dodo), teams and email wired end to end

✓

Agent-oriented guardrails: AGENTS.md, scoped context, golden paths and agent-eval

✓

Modern stack built on Bun, Hono, React 19 and PostgreSQL with Better Auth

✓

Documented recipes for common changes and failure diagnosis

✓

Application is runnable immediately after cloning rather than stubbed

Overview

Superslate is a paid SaaS boilerplate and starter kit positioned for the "agent era," built on production-grade TypeScript. It bundles the recurring infrastructure of a SaaS product — authentication, billing, organizations, uploads, transactional email and API contracts — so that a new project starts from a working, deployed application rather than a login form.

Full Description ▼

The stack combines Bun, Hono, React 19, PostgreSQL, Better Auth and Resend, with billing exposed through a single contract supporting Polar, Stripe and Dodo. Authentication covers password and magic-link sign-in, optional Google provider, required email verification and session revocation on password reset. Organizations support personal and team scopes with invites, roles, transfers and queries scoped by organization_id.

Beyond the scaffold, Superslate ships agent-oriented tooling: a root AGENTS.md contract, scoped per-directory context files, a maintained docs/golden-paths collection of change recipes (add-domain-end-to-end, add-billing-gated-feature, add-authenticated-route, add-database-migration, diagnose-failed-webhook, deploy-fresh-application and others), a packages/agent-eval harness for scoring diffs for boundary violations, and a read-only packages/agent-context with six tools and optional STDIO context for coding agents. The intended effect is that AI coding agents read current context, follow an established route and can verify changes before review.
